Levain Bakery

In 2019, after two years of working in tech in San Francisco, I dropped everything and moved to the Hamptons to work behind the counter of Levain Bakery’s beachy outpost. After a few months of slinging cookies and folding tarts, I joined the three person marketing team full time in NYC.

I overhauled Levain’s social strategy to take the Instagram presence from being product-driven to take a community-driven approach that infused with the brand’s heritage and values. As an omni-channel brand, we flexed the strategy to speak to our products across retail locations, e-commerce, and grocery.

During my three years with Levain, became the in-house copywriter, hand modeled, launched a TikTok account, embraced Reels, doubled Instagram followers from 177K to 360K people, helped open bakeries in new markets, wrote the social and influencer strategy to launch the first ever grocery product, and ate an ungodly amount of cookies.
